The Milton Project teamed up with Project Catsnip from Atlanta to sponsor a spay/neuter week for Tybee and local ferals. A colony of 60+ was speutered. Volunteers trapped more than 100 cats. Project Catsnip is planning to return in October for another week.

After helping a caretaker start the practice of TNR with her 30 cats. The Milton Project has jumped in with both feet to help the domestic cats in the household that were sick from upper respiratory. The caretaker/owner reports that the kittens and adults are improving daily and the kittens should be able to be adopted in about 3-4 weeks. Stay tuned for pictures.

A volunteer has set a new record for a weekends worth of trapping. A colony of 18 cats were all trapped, transported to SNAC for speutering. Milton says WAY TO GO! The caretaker has reported that all the cats have returned and are getting used to not always mating, fighting and doing the 3 am mating call under the caretaker windows.
