PROJECT CATSNIP A

SPEUTERING

SUCCESS

The Milton Project, Savannah's feral cat rescue program, teamed up with Atlanta-based Project CatSnip to conduct a spay /neuter blitz Monday, March 31 through Thursday, April 3, 2008. Our volunteers trapped more than 75 ferals from Savannah and Tybee Island. Almost as many domestic cats were "speutered."

Milton says a BIG Thank You to Frank, Jane, Ann, Sally, Lisa, Brian, Mrs. O, Karen, Nancy, Marie, Jenny, Mandy, Dr. Amy, Bob, Jo, Laura, Dre, Joann, Nora, Jaime, Sandy, Shirley, Judy, Julie and everyone else that made this event possible. Everyone pitched in to help with trapping, making bait, baiting traps, loading and unloading trucks, transport, release, lunch runs, and clean up.

We are hopeful that Project Catsnip will be able to return in the fall and we can make another big dent in the feral cat population
